CONTRACTOR COUNTER SALES

We are currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a full-time contractor counter sales position.  If you have familiarity and experience in building materials, coupled with a commitment to great customer service, this is the position for you!

As a counter sales associate, you will:

  • Take customer sales orders from start to finish
  • Estimate customer projects
  • Order products and set deliveries.
  • Build relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Answering phone as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience with windows and doors
  • Experience in lumber and hardware
  • Great Customer Service and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn

KITCHEN & BATH DESIGNER/SALES

Full Time position.  New Albany location.

This position requires an individual to interact with customers and assist them in making product choices according to their individual needs. Whether the interaction occurs in our award-winning showroom, or in the customer’s home, the objective is always to provide both design and product advice that will make the customers buying decision easier.

Qualifications:

  • Design kitchen/bath layout
  • Ability to interact with customers and assist them in making product choices according to their individual needs
  • Must be able to divide work time between the showroom floor, visiting customer’s homes and prospecting for new clients.
  • Entering the design specifications into our computer systems
  • Pricing products
  • Preferred 2+ years’ experience in kitchen, bath design
  • 20/20 software technical knowledge
  • Sales-oriented personality a must
  • Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in your position and career

 

FLOORING SALES SPECIALIST

This position requires an individual to interact with customers and assist them in making flooring choices according to their individual needs. Whether the interaction occurs in our award-winning showroom, or in the customer’s home, the objective is always to provide both design and flooring advice that will make the customers buying decision easier.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate must be willing to divide his or her work time between the showroom floor, visiting customer’s homes and prospecting for new clients.
  • Must be a self- starter, personally well organized, and willing to create new business as well as to provide outstanding customer service and follow-up.
  • Flooring product knowledge is required.
  • Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in your position and career
  • Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines and deliverables
  • Retail sales experience is a plus, but not required

 

SHOWROOM LIGHTING SPECIALIST

If you are passionate about home décor with a knack for providing the kind of high level personal service and expert advice our customers expect we would like to meet you.

You will be responsible for assisting and guiding clients through the design process that will include selecting lighting fixtures that will complement their home décor. You will be dealing with a wide range of customers from contractors to homeowners.

Qualifications:

  • Technical understanding of product offering
  • Prior work experience in residential lighting
  • Ability to decipher plans & specifications
  • Self-motivated and friendly personality
  • Identify, prioritize, quote and track sales quotations
 
 
SALES COORDINATOR
The successful candidate will be an organized, dependable person, who will support outside sales person and contractor customers. Knowledge of Doors & Windows and lumber industry background a plus. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment a must. Excellent computer skills required. The sales coordinator is directly responsible for the interface between sales and operations, quote-tracking, stock and special order processing, order/job tracking and paperwork to support these efforts. Should be versed in customer relations, customer service and complaint resolution.As a Sales Coordinator, you will:

  • Support outside sales & contractor customers
  • Knowledge of Doors & Windows a plus

HARDWARE FLOOR SALES ASSOCIATE

We are currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a full-time Hardware floor sales associate position.  If you have familiarity and experience in building materials, coupled with a commitment to great customer service, this is the position for you!

As a Floor Sales Associate, you will:

  • Stock the merchandise
  • Order/suggest order quantities
  • Face & zone area of responsibility
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Answering phone as needed

Qualifications:

  • Punctual/Dependable/Motivated
  • Positive Attitude to make things happen
  • Attention to Detail
  • Outstanding level of customer on the retail floor
  • Basic knowledge of hardware/lawn and garden/paint a plus
  • Retail experience a plus
  • Previous experience mixing paint, working with color, interior design a plus.

 

HOUSEKEEPING & JANITORIAL

The successful candidate will be an organized, dependable person, who will be responsible for cleaning the office and showroom areas.

As a Housekeeping & Janitorial person, you will:

  • Empty Trash
  • Sweep & mop
  • Dust
  • Service all restrooms – ensure all products are at an acceptable level
  • Maintain supplies needed for job
  • Clean employee break room

DELIVERY DRIVER
Full Time position with Benefits.  New Albany location.  Must have excellent driving skills.   Previous experience a plus!  Must be able to load and unload heavy deliveries!  High school diploma or GED. 
 
 
WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEE
 Full-Time with Benefits.  Must be physically fit enough to load and unload building materials.  Previous Experience a Plus!  Some Weekends.
